Seen on his farm bike day and night among the rows that flank the braided Waitaki River, Renzo brings another Latin dash to the estate.
Renzo supervises the estate which spans from the alpine Riverside Vineyard in the Hakataramea Valley through to the vineyards which surround the state-of-the-art winery.
Michelle Hoffman
Michelle is staunchly pround of the Mosel-like rows of vines combed across the curves of the Riverside Vineyard. This is true pioneer territory, where no vines have been previously planted. To some extent the limestone rocks of "The Haka" underscore the entire character of the pristine, clear, pure wines of the estate.
Cleighten Cornelius - winemaker
Cleighten, a keen sportsman, previously made wine at Pegasus Bay and Allan Scott, with vintage experience in the Rheingau and Burgundy. His enthusiasm manifests itself in hidden caches of tiny batch ferments all over our modern winery, making the blending and balancing of fantastic Village and Pasquale wines as joyful and complex as painting a rainbow!
Hayley Smith - Office Manager
The outdoors girl on the cover of a pig hunting magazine is about as far as you can get from the elegant and efficient Hayley that greets callers and tasters at the winery. However it is the same bright smile that gives her away It IS the same person!
